Evening sportsfans!! well the one thing i didn't anticipate today was heavy going which pretty much put paid to the nap before the off in all fairness but to be honest on decent ground i don't think he'd of been good enough as the winner was pretty impressive in my eyes & i think that will be the last time you see him in a handicap for a while.here are tomorrows thoughts...

PROSPECT WELLS 2.50 CHELTENHAM (NAP)

with ruby walsh over in ireland to ride hurricane fly i think it can do this one a favour as he now has the stables very capable 7lb claimer harry derham on board & i think the claim can tip the scales in his favour.he did win on soft ground at chantilly when trained by andre fabre in his younger days & usually when they describe it as soft over there its normally hock deep so the ground shouldn't pose any problems.on saying that though he's by the all conquering sire saddlers wells so he could quite well improve if anything on bottomless ground.on form lines with forecast favourite darlan i think he has the beating of the nicky henderson inmate & with the added bonus of a solid re-appearance last saturday he should be primed & spot on for this tomorrow.
4pts e/w @ 8/1 (william hill)

it will be all eyes on cheltenham tomorrow with the return of nicky hendersons stable star sprinter sacre but his participation must be in doubt with forecast weather conditions.i must admit i'm a flat man myself rather than NH but not since watching desert orchid back in the late eighties & early nineties has something made my hair stand on end like this one does when he takes to the track & will surely be contesting for major honours this term.many thanks for taking the time to read my blog & as always good luck with whatever you decide for your money tomorrow & happy punting!!! :-)

regards
ian
