Evening sportsfans!! a quite day today to be honest as there wasn't alot that got me excited but hopefully we've found a few for tomorrow..
2pts e/w MAAREK 3.30 newbury (nap) 6/1 stan james
this really isn't the strongest G3 ever run & with underfoot conditions to suit this lad should have a bit to much class for these. he has a phenominal record with cut in the ground & his record with soft in the going description in pattern races reads.. 1-3-1-2-1-2-1-5-2 (the 5th was in a G2 race) so the more rain that falls the better its as simple as that.
1pt e/w BLACK SPIRIT 2.55 newbury (nb) 8/1 coral
his run last time out in time i think will turn out to be more than half decent behind what i think are three improving horses & with the handicapper leaving him alone he looks on a competitive mark here.
0.5pt e/w DICK BOS 2.40 ayr 20/1 coral
a typical david o'meara sort who after only 12 lifetime starts could well still be open to some further improvement. he won't mind the underfoot conditions & hasn't been disgraced in better races than this recently.
0.5pt e/w REGAL PARADE 3.50 ayr 16/1 bet365
the annual cavalry charge that is the ayr gold cup & if you ran the race ten times you would probably get ten different results to be honest but i got it down to this one & the hugo palmer trained khubala but i plumped for the old boy as hes now on his lowest mark since 2008 & also gets his ground & is now 6lb lower than when winning the coral sprint less than a year ago.
e/w yankee (2pts in total)
many thanks for following..
regards
ian
