morning followers,a new month,a fresh start!! :-) yesterday was most disappointing, the nap done everything right, seized the rails, got the lead...then found nothing when buick but the gun to his head...scrub!...the nb selection had awful luck in running, running on a fast finishing 4th beaten half a length in total, but thats racing as they say. onto today...
todays BACK selections...
captivator 3.25 sandown (NAP)
labarinto 4.00 sandown (NB)
well take it from the top & this is very interesting today, she needs a good break between races as she struggles with bad knees,so have a look at her form after a 60+ day break..1-1-2-1 in fact the longer the break the better.shes seen to best effect over a mile & bouncing off the ground, which she gets today, you can scrub her run LTO as she was outclassed in the windsor forest at royal ascot but prior to that finished just over a length behind 115 rated izzi top & she brings form to the table of the highest order winning the G1 pretty polly & finishing less than a length behind snow fairy, there is absolutly nothing of that calibre here today so she only needs to run within around 10lb of that performance to pick these up & carry them.kieran fallon continues on board today & i would imagine he would of had the pick of quite a few here.at around 10/1 (i got this last night) she is a monumental e/w bet.now the NB selection has taken a bit more investigating, this time last year he was most progressive, winning a C2 h'cap at goodwood in taking style off a mark of 93,but after that started to get aggitated in the parade ring & showed signs of petulance in all three starts since.however michael stoute isnt a sir for his contributions to cake making,he knows his onions,so it was off to the vets & nuts off!! this should
help this gelding massivly today as basically he was getting horny prior to his races!! we have to take a bit off a leap of faith that it has done the trick but at likely odds must be an e/w banker as he does have the back class to take this.
many thanks for taking the time to read my blog,i try & make it an interesting read but if you have any constructive criticism or comments i would love to hear them & as always, good luck with whatever you decide today..
regards
ian
