6/9/2012

morning all!! we have to start with a quick word on yesterday...
bitterly disappointing, red bay now has the look of a horse that hasn't trained on at all, sometimes you have to give horses a chance to repay faith showed in them, not this one, scrub it off any list you've got it in & i wouldn't be surprised to see it pop up in a seller/claimer next time out.the nap didnt fair any better, even jesus wasnt't right every time!!so onto today...ive decided to change things around a little today following feedback from followers,i will be listing the selections & also putting a staking plan with them... so at the end of the day we'll have a profit/loss to a points stake so here goes....

todays BACK selections...

qushci                              4.40 haydock

right then then this filly comes here only 2lbs higher than her last winning mark of 89,but crack irish apprentice michael murphy takes off a valuable 7lb & can tip the balance in her favour.shes had 7 runs since that newmarket win & there have been feesable excuses ever since, her h'cap mark rocketed to the late 90's after that victory so h'caps were off the menu for a while & was punted in listed class until last time when beaten a neck off 88 in a newmarket h'cap, shes been put up 3lb for that effort but murphys claim will be invaluable today, she'll bounce off this ground & has optimum conditions today so im expecting a massive run.
5pts e/w @ 8/1

valencha                          3.45 salisbury

now this race is a C2 in name only,a very weak affair for the grade imo and represents a serious drop in class for this mare & there are feesable excuses for her last three runs, whilst she does go on a softer surface shes far more at home on top of the ground & also has a course victory to her name which is a big advantage, jimmy fortune is an excellent jockey round here & she represents massive value at 16/1 freely available.
3pts e/w @ 16/1

artisan                             5.10 haydock

now this could be a typical brian ellison "cheat horse" thats now 5lb below his winning a/w mark of 65,still relativly unexposed this one could still have improvement in him.it was reported as having breathing troubles earlier this season & the addition of the tongue tie today could be a master stroke.clearly doesnt stay 16f & will be far more at home over todays 12f trip.
2pts e/w @10/1

so we have a total stake of 20pts....lets see how we end up at the end of the day!! :-) many thanks for taking the time to read my blog & sharing my thoughts on the days racing,i have to say thankyou for all the positive feedback ive recieved recently, when you do this for a living locking yourself away in the study for 8-10 hrs a day can get quite lonely sometimes so many thanks & its nice to feel appreciated,as always good luck with whatever you decide for your money today & best wishes.

regards
ian
