morning sportsfans!!! another great day on the blog yesterday supplying a 7/1 winner @ sp...the nap failed to set the world alite but did show up for a long way from an awful draw,he's definatly one to keep an eye on at musselburgh in the future.not one to walow in our success lets blast straight into todays cards...now i have to be honest & ive put a line thro lingfield & bath as they were truly awful in my eyes...so its off to kempton for todays selections....
today's BACK selections are...
the new black 9.00 kempton
well i did that much digging on this one i thought i'd end up in australia at one stage!!lol this one comes here on a pound lower mark than when she won at brighton and ran an excellent
race in defeat here at kempton when only 3L behind bint alzain off a mark of 67....at first glance she
seems in with an average shout...now let me hit you with the sucker punch....she's only ever raced as far as 8f, and to be fair has performed with credit, which is amazing as she's by a kahyasi mare packed full of stamina, her half sibblings include big eared fran (2m 4f hurdle winner) spifer (beaten a s.h. in a 1m 4f heritage h'cap at ascot off 88) and spieta (once raced maide trained by luca cumani who fetched 65,000 as a yearling) today she goes into unknown territory over 13f & watch her bloom, anything shes done upto now has to be treated as a bonus on her pedigree as there a late maturing family so on her 11th run she'll just be coming to herself, maximum confidence is carried today.
red bay 7.30 kempton
now this was a bit of a conundrum but red bay will carry our cash, back onto his last winning mark of 73 comes here with a cracking e/w shout in the context of his 4l defeat by galician (rated 91) last year,he then went on to win his nursery here at kempton, this season he's been quite highly tried in a couple of C4 h'caps but back in his grade today can show them a clean pair of heels & get his 3-y-o career back on track.
i have to say many thanks for your kind words recently regarding my blog as it seems to be proving quite popular looking at the amount of traffic going thro it!! there are still the odd fraction that just want to have a dig but if they dont have anything better to do with there lives then carry on!! :-) if theres anything you'd like to ask me regarding my selections feel free to ask at anytime,i will always give you my honest opinion,in fact even if you would like my opinion on your selections i would be more than happy to share my views.
i have to be honest, whilst i try to make my blog as intersting as possible it is a bit dull...if anyone has any ideas how i can "jazz it up" a bit they would be gratefully recieved....in the meantime many thanks on sharing my thoughts on todays racing & good luck with whatever you decide today.
regards
ian
