Evening sportsfans!! well i think we got it about right on last nights blog, pretty poor low grade stuff & lots of it i'm afraid. :-( and why there where three a/w meetings in the middle of the jumps season really is beyond me,don't get me wrong the a/w is fine just to tick over & fill in when theres nothing else but when there C5 & C6 races are taking centre stage it just about tells you the quality of the racing on a whole to be honest.again we've dug deep & found what we think are decent selections at value prices...
3pt e/w @ 10/1 (ladbrokes) APRIL FOOL 3.20 LINGFIELD (nap)
2pt e/w @ 7/1 (paddy power) BILLY RED 12.50 LINGFIELD (nb)
1pt e/w @ 9/1 (bet365) BENE LAD 2.30 AYR
1pt e/w trixie
april fool looks like quite a cuning plot to me by connections as they've put a 5lb claimer up which puts him on his last winning a/w mark & they've not messed about either they've plumped for red hot willy twiston-davies.last time out he has to turn the form around with the runner up but he gets a massive 11lb pull (inc.claim) for just under 7l but he wasn't perservered with once his chance had gone & the distance probably flatters the runner up to be honest.he's going to have no problem taking up his customary front running role & thats exactly where you want be round here in my opinion & he should lead this lot a merry dance.billy reds another who has to turn round form from his previous run with a couple of rivals but he also gets a healthy weight pull & more importantly he was stuck 4 wide all the way round that day & probably went half a furlong more than anything else so the fact he weakened in the straight wasn't surprising & his shrewd stable has the top man joe fanning booked.also the 3lb that the handicapper has dropped him since his last run see's him now on his last winning mark over C&D.it was this time last year that bene lad hit form & he's now dropped to the same mark that seen him win a 0-120 over C&D and looks a value e/w bet.many thanks for taking the time to read my blog & i wish you the best of luck with whatever you decide for your money & happy punting!! :-)
