Evening sportsfans!! well what an awful display today was & i think my conclusions are that form around southwell seems to stand up very well with the current state of the polytrack surfaces.hopefully we can get back on track tomorrow..

the "stench" of barney curley lives on somewhat with this son of tiger hill whos new stable seem intent on carrying on the ideas that curley pursued with this horses career.hes had three runs for his new stable,a never put in to it race on his debut over 10f then the same again over a mile but last time out over a mile the jockey done everything possible not to get in the frame & the stable are clearly trying to work his mark down owing to the fact that in his entire career the shortest trip hes ever ran over was 11f!! being by tiger hill the further he goes the better so tomorrows 13f trip should be ideal & hes only 3lb above his last winning a/w mark when winning with any amount in hand which was this time last year.they'll be no excuses tomorrow & i fully expect the handbrake to be taken off with william carson replacing the 7lb claimer whos been on top the last twice.

sean dixons grand old stager can get his career back on the right tragectory as he takes a welcome drop in grade.it was less than a year ago he was contesting listed races round here off a mark of 103 & performing with credit & whilst hes been tried over a variety of trips in his career i believe this 7f is ideal.he wore cheekpieces last time out & the stable have switched back to blinkers & it might just light him up enough to rekindle his interest for the game.
there are a couple of things that i like at ayr tomorrow including consigliere & seven is lucky.david pipe makes the long journey north with consigliere & he very rarely leaves empty handed & the denis o'regan ridden seven is lucky loves it round ayr & looks to have dropped to a competitive mark.again we seem to be at the mercy of the good old british weather but signs are hopeful that racing should start to get back into full swing.should we lose any of the fixtures i wll do the kempton card in the morning & post my findings.many thanks for taking the time to read my blog & i hope you've found it both interesting & informative but as always i wish you the best of luck with whatever you decide for your money tomorrow & happy punting!!! :-)
regards
