31/5 /2013

Evening sportsfans!! well what a day today was for followers!! vainglory lead the charge going in at a tasty 12/1 followed by places at both 8/1 & 18/1! the nap disappointingly was a n/r but that gave us over 150pts profit to our advised bets today & its safe to say that day one of the meeting got off to a flyer! :-) hopefully the good form can continue tomorrow...

2pts e/w CAPTAIN DUNNE 3.15 epsom (nap) 7/1 bet365

what a credit to connections this horse has been over the years & he ran a cracking trial for this last time out at chester when just overhauled in the final furlong.the handicapper has left him alone & he can blast out here from a very good draw & show the younger generation the way home.he won this race back in 2011 off a 10lb higher mark so he looks very well treated here in my opinion.

1pt e/w GALILEO ROCK 4.00 epsom (nb) 33/1 ladbrokes

an ambitious selection but let me explain..firstly i cant have the favourite dawn approach on my mind at all so lets look at in laymens terms.. the horse has never run over the trip, not even close to it with a mile being the furthest hes gone upto now. so then the next thing you have to look at to see wether it will stay is the pedigree & thats what i'm baseing my decision on as the dam side of his pedigree is miler after miler..theres no stamina influence at all to back him up running over the trip & galileo doesn't have the best record over 1m 4f with his prodginey either.this brings us on to our selection & by the name you can guess hes by galileo but the difference here is on the dam side hes by grecian bride which makes him a three parts brother to the classy stayer sadlers rock & he will appreciate every yard of this trip.i said with our oaks selection that she would be running on when others have cried enough & the same applies to this lad.he ran a cracker on his return in the sandown classic trial when staying on behind sugar boy & had subsequent dante winner libertarian 8l behind giving the form a solid look & he will have come on a ton for the run.due to the fact hes from a family that improve with time & distance he looks cracking value to run a place at the very least & it looks like john magniers son in law could well upset the ballydoyle raiding party tomorrow & wayne lordan is a top quality big race pilot in my opinion.

0.5pt e/w double

many thanks for taking the time to read my blog & as always i wish you the best of luck with whatever you decide for your money tomorrow & happy punting!! :-)

30/5/2013

Evening sportsfans!! straight into tomorrow as its oaks day!! theres something about waking up on the morning of a classic with a spring in your step..hopefully we can find a few winners..

3pts e/w LICENCE TO TILL 2.10 epsom (nap) 14/1 paddy power

2pts e/w THE LARK 4.00 epsom (nb) 18/1 bet365

1pt e/w PENITENT 2.45 epsom 8/1 william hill

1pt e/w VAINGLORY 3.20 epsom 12/1 bet365

0.5pt e/w yankee

from the top the nap comes here 6lb below his last winning mark which was only last summer & looks cracking value here.hes weighted to turn around recent form with both area fifty one & blue surf and he certainly won't mind any rain either.the oaks looks wide open to me although i certainly wouldn't put you off the favourite as she looked a beautifully balanced filly to me when winning the lingfield oaks trial & she could well turn this into a procession but i've gone for a bit of value in michael bells the lark.she'll be staying on here when plenty of others have cried enough & the thing that struck me is the trainer won the race in 2009 with the owners sariska & this ones got exactly the same profile..won a back end maiden with minimal fuss & then re-appeared looking in need of the run placing in pattern company..and time will tell but i think that form behind winsili will turn out to be more than decent to be honest.our old friend penitent will love any further rain & he's a G2 winner dropping back in class & whilst he carries a penalty he's also been placed here by middleham park & they don't make mistakes, simple as that.vainglory was kept off the radar on his last run & looks on an attractive mark now.many thanks for taking the time to read my blog & as always i wish you the best of luck with whatever you decide for your money tomorrow & happy punting!! :-)

29/5/2013

Evening sportsfans!! a blank day on the blog today although we found a few winners throughout the day so those that follow my twitter feed hopefully had a few winners.lets see if we can nail a few tomorrow..

2pts e/w TRADER JACK 8.50 sandown (nap) 15/2 bet victor

this lad has by far the best form on offer here with his second behind grandeur (off levels) at goodwood being the absolute stand out for me as jeremy nosedas charge is now rated a whopping 108! he was then asked to give sir graham wade 9lb & ran a stormer to be beaten around 4 lengths as that ones now rated 107. he was then up against it yet again having to give weight to the improving amanda perrett charge blue surf (now rated 99) on his penultimate start & theres nothing of that quality here.the recent form of the roger charlton stable is a massive plus also as they've hit four winners & three places from there last ten runners & i fully expect this one to add to the total.

BLOODSWEATANDTEARS 3.00 brighton 4/1 bet365

PUTIN 4.30 brighton 8/1 bet365

CAYMAN FOX 3.10 hamilton 9/1 bet365

ALSAHIL 4.40 hamilton 14/1 paddy power

COPPERWOOD 5.55 lingfield 11/2 paddy power

0.5pt e/w lucky 31

i like all of these & they all should give a good account of them selves to be honest so i thought it was best to chuck them in a multiple & hope they land right!! :-)

once again the best thing to do is to keep an eye on my twitter feed as the ground is very unpredictable at the minute so last minute changes are inevitable i'm afraid. many thanks for taking the time to read my blog & as always i wish you the best of luck with whatever you decide for your money & happy punting!! :-)

28/5/2013

Evening sportsfans!! with night racing most nights time is against me so i will try & post my selections every evening but you would be better of following my twitter feed @ianmallard whilst the evening racing is on.

2pts e/w BIG WAVE 3.00 nottingham (nap) 8/1 bet365

1pt e/w AMBITIOUS ICARUS 2.30 nottingham (nb) 16/1 bet365

1pt e/w AMAZING BLUE SKY 5.15 nottingham 14/1 bet365

0.5pt e/w trixie

all three like it here at the east midlands venue & it could turn out to be a nice little bet! ;-) the nap should be able to control things from the front & make all and amazing blue sky should also get an uncontested lead which he may be able to slip these from.

many thanks for taking the time to read my blog & as always i wish you the best of luck with whatever you decide for your money tomorrow & happy punting!! :-)

27/5/2013

Evening sportsfans!! well a day of what could of been really.. the nap was a n/r & then when your lucks out its out as the jockey on the nb forgot to remove the blindfold! now i dont mind getting beat fair & square if you make a wrong call but when you dont even get a run for your money its a bitter pill to swallow. the win lucky 31 didnt have any joy, a n/r being the highlite but the e/w lucky 31 found a nice 8/1 winner & a 12/1 place to go with it. we also had two finish fourth @ 20/1 & 25/1 respectably so it could of been a tasty day but ultimatly we came out with a loss, all be it minimal. i've got three i like tomorrow...

2pts e/w TRIBAL MYTH 3.30 leicester (nap) 12/1 bet365

1pt e/w JEDWARD 4.10 redcar (nb) 14/1 paddy power

1pt e/w HOT ROD MAMMA 3.10 redcar 16/1 ladbrokes

0.5pt e/w trixie

all three look to be on very winnable marks to me but the nap in particular will relish a return to this fast ground & i think i may have a walk up the course tomorrow & get stuck in. many thanks for taking the time to read my blog & as always i wish you the best of luck with whatever you decide for your money & happy punting!! :-)

***SHOOT FOR A MILLION***

every saturday i will now be doing a shoot for a million section which is basically where i will select a small stakes multiple that if all land will pay a cool million....ambitious..VERY!lol but where on earth would we be without dreams?? now the suggested stakes will be affordable to all as it would be pointless doing it & putting up a £25 unit stake that people couldnt afford to follow so tomorrows bet is an e/w lucky 63 to 10p unit stakes.. her goes..

KNOWE HEAD 2.30 chester 11/1 paddy power

PEARL ICE 3.10 chester 13/2 paddy power

HARVARD N YALE 3.40 chester 9/4 paddy power

MABAIT 4.15 chester 12/1 bet victor

RAY OF JOY 4.40 goodwood 14/1 bet victor (really like this one!)

BOLLIN GRETA 4.00 YORK 10/1 bet victor

10p e/w lucky 63

i think i've got my sums right & if they all go in there might be a few millionaires about tomorrow evening!lol

Evening sportsfans!! a bumper card to kick off the bank holiday weekend & i've got a few races that i've been looking at which i will be previewing this evening..

2.55 york 5f C2 handicap

these warriors seem to take each other on week in week out & you'll probably get a different result everytime you run the race but the one that sticks out like a sore thumb to me is MAGICAL MACEY.he ran a cracker on his seasonal return behind ancient cross & he also gets healthy weight pulls with the winner & third that day judge & jury.that run will have tightened him up & he can make a bold bid from a prominent position here.

2pts e/w magical macey 16/1 ladbrokes (nap)

3.50 haydock 5f C1 Group 2

my play here is the lay of the day in reckless abandon. making his seasonal re-appearance here he was all speed at two years & the first question has to be has he trained on?? secondly will he handle the faster ground here as all his juvenile starts where on good or softer..i'm happy to take on a horse with so many questions to answer & on the fast ground i think sole power will carry on his upward curve & take this onto better things, he'll get the strong pace that he needs to come at tomorrow & he looks the banker bet of the day for me.

LAY: reckless abandon

BACK: sole power

2.20 york 1m 6f  C1 listed

the publics new darling of the turf mad moose comes here after running a cracker at chester but i think old moosey will have to bow down to a few of these.i'm on the Mccain runner ILE DE RE to bounce back to form here.he'll appreciated any further rain as the softer the better for him & he can lead this lot a merry dance here. i'll be more than happy to lay the favourite songcraft here as i don't think he has form strong enough to take this, simple as that. a C3 ripon conditions event is the best his current c.v. can offer & thats not good enough here to make him so short to be honest.

LAY: songcraft

BACK: 2pts e/w ILE DE RE 6/1 bet365 (nb)

so two lays & three back selections for us tomorrow & hopefully we can get the bank holiday off to a flyer!! many thanks for taking the time to read my blog & as always i wish you the best of luck with whatever you decide for your money tomorrow & happy punting!! :-)

23/5/2013

Evening sportsfans!! firstly may i thank everyone that responded to my previous post on the current doping scandal to rock the racing world.it was good to hear your views on the subject & taken them on board but the overwhelming response was "cheat" & i have to agree.onto tomorrow & hopefully i've got a couple of tasty ones lined up for us..

2pts e/w JOHANNES 4.20 goodwood (nap) 14/1 ladbrokes

1pt e/w SHIFTING STAR 2.35 goodwood (nb) 16/1 skybet

at first sight the richard hannon trained wentworth looks a gift off a mark of 92 against the nap but this is the shortest trip he will have tackled & i actually backed him on his last run & he seemed to take forever & a day to get going & i really thought he would be a miler at the very least.cue the veteran johannes to step up to the mark now hes slipped to the same mark as when taking a very competitive C&D last summer.the nb has slipped to 9lb below his last winning mark & also ran a screamer when just touched off by fabled city off a higher mark.hes had a run to blow the cobwebs away & should strip alot fitter over his favourite C&D.

many thanks for taking the time to read my blog & as always i wish you the best of luck with whatever you decide for your money tomorrow & happy punting!! :-)

Tuesday 21 May 2013

21/5/2013

Evening sportsfans!! nice to be back after a short break to recharge the batteries but the only remnants of turf flat racing we have is the mixed card at leafy lingfield which is slightly disappointing but with a fibresand fixture at southwell i'm sure theres some value to be had at the nottinghamshire venue.

2pts e/w JACKIE LOVE 1.50 southwell (nap) 10/1 bet365

2pts e/w BOY THE BELL 3.20 southwell (nb) 6/1 bet365

1pt e/w RIDGEWAY HAWK southwell 13/2 bet365

0.5pt e/w trixie

from the top the nap has dropped to a very dangerous mark and whilst the surface has to be taken on trust the sire stats are encouraging.i had my eye on this one on her penultimate start as she had dropped to a winning mark but she had an awful draw that day in the car park & the run is best forgotten.all she needs to do is get out on terms from a decent draw to get involved in this for me & i'm expecting a big run here.interestingly on her last victory she had putin behind her off levels & that horse has gone on to compete off a higher mark so the form has a solid look about it.the NB is simple, back on his last winning mark & solid course form, ding dong go & collect.ridgeway hawk came back to form last time out over C&D and i was on that day so being as the handicapper has left him alone i see no reason to desert him here.hopefully three solid selections & a profitable day awaits!! :-)

i have to air my views on the current godolphin saga now its come to light that further horses under Al Zaroonis care have tested positive, firstly,is anyone really surprised?? a man found guilty of doping his horses has doped others as well?? OF COURSE HE HAS! jesus wept my twitter feed was like everyone was surprised for some bizarre reason but i know hindsight is a wonderful thing but how many of his horses shown sporadic pieces of form & then where tailed off...and all people kept blaming it on was them re-acclimatizing after returning from dubai...oh they where getting acclimatized alright, pumped to the eyeballs! which then brings us to the st leger & the winner who has now found to have been doped.young joseph o'brien was slaughtered on the day of the race for his ride on camelot & i was one that jumped on the bandwagon i will be honest but in hindsight was his run actually perfectly timed but with the best will in the world i dont think a porsche would have got past encke that day knowing what we know now.so camelot would have then been an undefeated triple crown winner...which would of almost certainly of meant he would of missed last years arc & after having his pipe opener this season would still be an undefeated champion...coolmore must be livid!! which then brings us to sheikh mohammed..who i believe to be the most powerful man in british racing.now what if he does get the hump & decides to pull out of british racing, the aga khan did it..with great succes to be honest as his stud empire is as strong as ever with his involvement in french & irish racing.now money clearly isn't an issue for the sheikh or he would have been long gone years ago as the prize money on the continent makes the uk look pathetic if we're honest. its all about prestige for him & rightly so as british racing is steaped in history but if he pulled out & moved his operation to maybe germany there racing would then start a heritage of its own and would very quickly forget about the uk as our racing would drop to the standard of what they run for in places like turkey & norway at the minute.there would instantly be no trade newspaper as the racing post is owned & funded by the sheikh & his family would all follow there leader meaning sheikh hamdam & sheikh bin rashids strings would all be moved overseas.newmarket would be like a ghost town & the job losses would be monumental.i really would wonder if racing would actually survive a blow like that & it really is worrying times at the minute if i'm honest which then begs the question..has he allowed to become to powerful?? the debate would go on & on but in the meantime i think racing fans need to keep there fingers well & truly crossed for a favourable outcome to this whole sorry mess that this has been created.

many thanks for taking the time to read my blog & apologies if it seems like i've moaned on for a while but people really need to be aware of the potential fallout from this saga but as always i wish you the best of luck with whatever you decide for your money tomorrow & happy punting!! :-)

Sunday 19 May 2013

19/5/2013

Evening sportsfans!! no joy with the lucky 15 today but the nap did run a cracker to get placed so it was'nt all dome & gloom but profits what we're after & ultimatly it was a losing day so hopefully tomorrow sees us back on track.

2pts e/w MAYBE SOME TIME 7.50 leicester (nap) 17/2 bet victor

1pt e/w VERINCO 4.10 redcar (nb) 14/1 bet victor

0.5pt e/w double

FOLLOW THE FLAG 3.30 southwell 14/1 bet365

TATTING 5.00 southwell 16/1 bet365

RESTLESS BAY 5.30 southwell 20/1 boylesports

0.5pt e/w patent

we'll start with the nap who looks on a decent mark & with michael murphys 5lb claim he should be hard to beat here.he was running on nicely without getting involved on his comeback run & i'm expecting a big show here with that run under his belt. the nb is another who is benefiting from a 5lb claimer being on board this time in the shape of willy twiston-davies. having claimers on board can be advantagous but only if there worth the allowance. alot of 7lb claimers that are around at the minute are that weak that i wouldn't even contemplate looking at anything there on but these two lads are well worth it & neither will be claiming for to long in my opinion. the three a/w selections are all on winning marks from previous runs & that could well prove to be a nice little multiple.

i think i will be making my way to leicesters evening meeting tomorrow to back the nap & i was also hoping to see the return of frankie dettori but it looks like thats not going to happen now although i dont know if its been completly vetoed as yet. it's not the greatest card ever to be staged but it is a nice evening out at oadby & anyone going give me a shout on twitter & we'll see if we can find a few winners.

many thanks for taking the time to read my blog & as always i wish you the best of luck with whatever you decide for your money tomorrow & happy punting!! :-)

Evening sportsfans!! back to winning ways today nailing esteaming at a tasty 12/1 in the lucky last at york. unfortunatly the nap was a n/r but we finished the day well in front on our advised bets. those that follow me on twitter had the added bonus of this evenings nap going in at a tasty 11/1 to round up a cracking day to be fair. now we have to maintain the standards set so hopefully tomorrow bares similiar fruit...

2pts e/w TOP COP 2.40 newbury (nap) 12/1 ladbrokes

2pts e/w JEHANNEDARC newbury (nb) 11/2 labrokes

1pt e/w TEVEZ 1.45 newmarket 25/1 bet365

full write up along with tomorrow evenings selections will be posted saturday morning.

Thursday 16 May 2013

16/5/2013

Evening sportsfans!! not a bad effort today with the NB running a gallant race in second at a tasty 25/1 to cover our stakes but again we where just slightly off the mark to be honest, hopefully tomorrow will see us back amongst the winners..

2pts e/w BARREN BROOK 4.25 york (nap) 18/1 bet victor

he now has the look of a very well handicapped horse to me & his length second behind voodoo prince last august is arguably the best piece of form on offer here. hes twice been placed here off marks alot higher & the o'meara runner apart this isn't the strongest race in depth at all to be honest.

2pts e/w EASY TERMS 2.15 york (nb) 8/1 skybet

this horse was on a serious upward curve last summer & he can regain the winning thread here. the handicappers been kind to him & dropped him a couple of pounds since his last run & hes now just 2lb above where his winning spree came to an end over C&D and my theory is that this lad thrives on his racing & he may have just taken a couple of runs to get him back in the mood.

1pt e/w ESTEAMING 5.00 york 12/1 paddy power

David barrons sir percy gelding will relish this step up in trip & looks on a handy mark. he was touched off by rhombus towards the back end of last season but gets a 4lb pull here for half a length & the extra distance will bring out further improvement.

0.5pt e/w trixie

what a feast of racing we have tomorrow, alongside the dante meeting at york theres solid cards at both newbury & newmarket to back it up. the yorkshire cup looks at the mercy of cavalryman to me & he can be a welcome winner to the demoralised godolphin camp on a card packed full of quality. the two fillies pattern races aren't really my bag so i wont be putting up a selection but a watching brief is advised with a view to the rest of the season on both races to be honest. many thanks for taking the time to read my blog & as always i wish you the best of luck with whatever you decide for your money tomorrow & happy punting!! :-)

Wednesday 15 May 2013

15/5/2013

Evening sportsfans!! frustration has to be the word of the day today.. richard hughes taking the nap up a blind alley when full of running just about topped it off to be honest but whats done is done & hopefully tomorrow can see a return to form..

2pts e.w HAZELRIGG 1.45 york (nap) 33/1 skybet

this looks an absolute stand out gift at the price for me tomorrow. since winning over C&D off a 3lb higher mark in july of last year hes had valid excuses ranging from trip, draw & even the jockey forgetting to remove the blindfold!! :-/ the recent rain will have done him no harm at all & i'm expecting a big run.

1pt e/w PRINCE OF JOHANNE 3.15 york (nb) 25/1 boylesports

this lads been stuck in no mans land regarding his handicap mark but a recent drop sees him now on the same mark as when winning the hunt cup at last years royal meeting. last years runner up looks cracking value to me & can hopefully complete a big price double for us.

0.5pt e/w double

a great start to yorks dante festival today with some great racing & tomorrow looks set to follow suit with some quality pattern races to go with the competitive handicaps.in the dante i'm swinging towards jim bolgers trading leather to be honest as his pedigree shows this to be his trip & he looks like he could well make into a smart 3-y-o. the fillies G2 on the card looks at the mercy of french raider dalkala to me although i'm not sure wether she'll be any price if i'm honest in a race that also sees the return of last seasons 1000 guineas runner up starscope although with still only a maiden win to her name connections will be after some much needed black type for when she goes off to the paddocks. many thanks for taking the time to read my blog & as always i wish you the best of luck with whatever you decide for your money tomorrow & happy punting!!

Tuesday 14 May 2013

14/5/2013

Evening sportsfans!! another rough day to be fair although the NB netted us some place money & it was more of a case of what could of been as it fell out the stalls & lost around eight lengths at the start before mounting a last furlong charge but i'm not one to dwell & hopefully we can get back on track tomorrow..

2pts e/w SIRVINO 3.40 york (nap) 8/1 ladbrokes

connections of this lad must have slipped the handicapper a drink as  we napped him at the weekend when he was withdrawn & has now been dropped 3lb to boot! but more importantly the drop takes him to a mark of 85 enabling him to sneak into this 0-85 C4 for the first time since 2009 & his record in C4 races is... wait for it..1-1-1 !!  :-)

1pt e/w SILVERY MOON 1.45 york (nb) 16/1 william hill

a recent pipe opener will have done this lad the world of good & he comes here a pound below his last winning mark. he looks cracking value to me here although he does have to put a few bad runs behind him but a return to decent ground could well be the answer.

0.5pt e/w TAX FREE 2.15 york 28/1 bet365

the old boy doesn't have to roll back that far to get involved in this to be honest. he's now slipped to his lowest mark since 2005 & his second behind pepper lane in the great st wilfred last august is still top class form & he does love it on the knavesmire.

0.5pt e/w trixie

a cracking first day to the dante meeting in all fairness & some great racings in store. the race planners have been at it again though with three NH meetings & two flat at this time of year is verging on ridiculous for me but there you go, i'm sure theres a reason behind it but what it is is anyones guess to be honest.many thanks for taking the time to read my blog & as always i wish you the best of luck with whatever you decide for your money & happy punting!! :-)

Monday 13 May 2013

13/5/2013

Evening sportsfans!! ultimatly disappointing today if i'm honest.. the nap netted us minor place money & we got two out of the three placed in the trixie but nothing to get excited about.. lets hope tomorrow brings about a return to winning ways..

2pts e/w INGLEBY STAR 3.10 beverley (nap) 6/1 bet365

this lad loves it here with two wins & three places on his course C.V. he's now slipped back to his last winning mark & can take full advantage here from a decent draw.

1pt e/w DIAMOND BLUE 5.40 beverley (nb) 16/1 paddy power

this is another that has slipped to his last winning mark but more importantly the cheekpieces are re-applied here after being left off for a few runs.. and when he wore them for the first he won. since finishing third over C&D off a 5lb higher mark last season he's been tried over 6f & he simply doesn't stay...back over the flying five tomorrow he can pay handsome dividends.

upto now i've only covered the beverley card so i will add further selections as i go. hopefully i can find a few more & throw a multiple together.. :-)

many thanks for following..

Sunday 12 May 2013

12/5/2013

Evening sportsfans!! nice to be back after a short break whilst there where no turf flat meetings in the uk today. saturdays nap was a n/r so things are pretty much as they where & hopefully tomorrow can see us find some value..

2pts e/w ZACYNTHUS 4.25 doncaster (nap) 11/2 ladbrokes

this lad ran a race full of promise on his return & can get back in the winners enclosure tomorrow. he wants it like a road underneath so the firmer the ground the better.. if theres any rain.. be careful!
hes actually been quite consistent as you can forget his run behind jack dexter as he was drawn completly out of it & with normal progression he could be a typical handicap improver from the luca cumani yard.

1pt e/w GONINODAETHAT 5.20 musselburgh (nb) 8/1 bet365

a nap for us last time out & he ran a gallant race finishing third & netting us some place money & as hes on the same mark, graham lees back up & this is a weaker race we'll stick with him to gain us some overdue compensation.

1pt e/w EASTWARD HO 3.05 musselburgh 11/2 bet365

yet another that we napped last time out & if all these previous naps pop up today it could well turn out to be a blinder! :-) with a run now under his belt to tighten him up he could well poach an easy lead here & give these the slip now hes on a winning mark.

0.5pt e/w trixie

with a few previous naps running i quite fancy these three tomorrow & they could well pay a nice little multiple to be honest.

the "stealing a living" league has been gathering pace with the boys from the BHA planning office making a push for the title after todays farce of three NH meetings & no flat in the uk although with mahmood al zarooni lodging a pathetic appeal to his 8 year ban im sure godolphins simon chrisford still has a few aces to play before the title is decided.many thanks for taking the time to read my blog & as always i wish you the best of luck with whatever you decide for your money tomorrow & happy punting!! :-)

Evening sportsfans!! well the weather is throwing everything out at the minute if i'm honest.. spend all evening studying form with a view to it being fast ground only to find a deluge turns it on its head! annoyed is an understatement but i'm working on some give underfoot at chester tomorrow which i'm pretty sure it will be...

**********BLOG UPDATE**********

the nap ran a blinder just getting touched off in second & the next best is still yet to run.here are this evenings selections..

KIWI BAY 6.15 nottingham (best bet) 5/1 coral

MANDALAY KING 6.05 hamilton 10/3 bet365

FAST SHOT 6.55 ripon 11/2 stan james

FINE ALTOMIS 7.15 hamilton 11/2 bet victor

ACT YOUR SHOE SIZE 7.50 hamilton 16/1 bet365

suggested bet is an e/w lucky 31.
good luck if you follow...

 2pts e/w CHOSEN CHARACTER 1.45 chester (nap) 8/1 betfred

Tom Dascombes gelding gets a handy weight pull & can turn around recent form with dubai dynamo here.that ones drawn out in the car park tomorrow whilst crucially this lads in pole position in the one hole & can make it count here.with the other pace in the race all to his outside he only has to break on terms & he can slip round these tight turns like hes on rails.

1pt e/w COLONEL MAK 7.05 ascot (nb) 9/1 bet365

this lad is now very well handicapped as it was only this time last year he was winning off an 8lb higher mark than this.the booking of ryan moore is a massive positive here & he must now be on a workable mark after spending the last 12 months on marks he simply couldn't win off to be honest.

0.5pt e/w BARONS SPY 3.50 chester 28/1 william hill

this is a bit speculative i wont lie but hes slipped back to a winning mark, is a C&D winner & has a half decent draw... why not??

another cracking days racing at the roodee tomorrow & this little mini festival is fast becoming a favourite of mine to be honest. again the race planners seem to have outdone thereselves tomorrow with one turf flat meeting in the day (granted theres a mixed a/w & turf card at lingfield) and then no less than four evening fixtures!! it really is a tight call at the top of the "stealing a living leaderboard" but at the minute i would say simon chrisford of godolphin is narrowly ahead closely followed by sheikh hamdans racing manager angus gold... but by christ these race planners are a close up third!!! many thanks for taking the time to read my blog & as always i wish you the best of luck with whatever you decide for your money tomorrow & happy punting!! :-)

Evening sportsfans!! not alot to get excited about today i'm afraid.. the old boy dvinsky netting a place was about as good as it got & vast improvement is required. onto tomorrow which sees the start of the chester may meeting & a cracking days racing looks on the cards at the north west track. what i love more than anything on the flat is as soon as one festival finishes the next one is upon us faster than you can blink!! lets see if we can get back to winning ways..

2pts e/w NOBLE STORM 3.15 chester (nap) 9/1 william hill

lightening fast ground & a sharp track suit this fella down to the ground..ET VOILA! as if by magic this looks taylor made for him tomorrow. he drops back into handicap company for the first time since taking a C2 off a 3lb higher mark & this may well turn out to be a bit of shrewd placing by his stable. hes got a handy draw in six & can crack out & make all here.

1pt e/w BUCKLAND 2.45 chester (nb) 14/1 paddy power

this lad has been a revelation this year & the further hes gone the better hes got to be honest.hes by oratorio so he will improve with age as well & he could be a surprise cup horse this year.his fourth last time out behind estimate could well turn out to be top class form in this years staying division & i expect the stoute inmate to be a major player in the leading staying races this term. william buick takes over the reigns from young nicole norblad who has partnered him with great success this season but in the hustle & bustle of a top handicap the boy buick will do for us.

0.5pt e/w double

theres a few that i like at southwell tomorrow as well & i've decided to go for an e/w patent there..

FOLLOW THE FLAG 1.25 southwell 10/1 bet365

RIDGEWAY HAWK 2.25 southwell 10/1 bet365

SIX WIVES 4.00 southwell 15/2 bet365

0.5pt e/w patent

all three look to be on decent marks to me & hopefully they'll yield us at least a couple of winners.

many thanks for taking the time to read my blog & as always i wish you the best of luck with whatever you decide for your money tomorrow & happy punting!! :-)

6/5/2013

Evening sportsfans!! well the best we could muster today was a n/r i'm afraid..after the lord mayors show springs to mind but hopefully tomorrow can see us back on track...

2pts e/w MISS BLINK 5.20 yarmouth (nap) 12/1 paddy power

she comes here a whopping 8lb below her last winning mark & a return to her favoured quick going can reap rich rewards tomorrow. her record in C6 races over 10f reads.. 1-1-3-1 and is massive value here in my opinion.

1pt e/w PERFECT CH'I 3.50 yarmouth (nb) 16/1 bet365

another one whos starting to look very well handicapped to me. loves it round here with two victories from three starts & this is probably the weakest race shes contested yet.

1pt e/w ONE KOOL DUDE 2.50 yarmouth 8/1 bet365

another one that will appreciate the quicker going & as long as we don't get "spencered" i think this lad has a cracking chance. he's all speed & the return to 5f is a massive plus.

1pt e/w DVINSKY 3.10 kempton 12/1 bet365

the old boys ridiculously well handicapped now & you can forget his run last time from a car park draw. at his beloved kempton he has to be a danger off this mark.

e/w yankee (2pts in total)

hopefully tomorrow can see us back on track & back amongst the winners.i've got the three handicaps to cover at catterick & if i find anything i will add them to the blog later this evening. many thanks for taking the time to read my blog & as always i wish you the best of luck with whatever you decide for your money tomorrow & happy punting!! :-)

5/5/2013

Evening sportsfans!! well what a day for #teamchoochoo today was!! the NB bet of the day goes in @ 13/2 advised followed by a tasty 12/1 winner to go with it in the lucky 15. the NAP got collared in the final furlong but held on to get placed at 10/1 advised, all told it gave us over 100pts profit to our advised bets today!! hopefully tomorrow follows suit...

2pts e/w DANCING WELCOME 2.30 windsor (nap) 8/1 bet365

1pt e/w PIAZZA SAN PIETRO 3.00 windsor (nb) 14/1 william hill

1pt e/w BELLE PARK 4.45 bath 6/1 bet365

0.5pt e/w SHARED MOMENT 2.05 warwick 25/1 bet365

each way yankee (2pts in total)

i still have some more form study to do & i may have some further selections to add later this evening so i will tweet them as i go but these are my four strongest selections by far for tomorrow.

many thanks for following..

Morning sportsfans!! well the guineas weekend rolls on i have to admit i couldn't have dawn approach on the quicker ground. the two henrythenavigator colts in the line up i thought would make a much stronger challenge & whilst they may well turn out to to better than the run suggests you can take nothing away from the favourites performance as he really did put them to the sword in no uncertain terms & i seen someone tweet they where on @ 12/1 for the derby..that looks a very big price this morning now.

onto today & its the ladies that take centre stage & i have to admit i cant get past the favourite HOT SNAP. shes from a classic winning family & i think she will do the family name proud today. she won over a mile on debut & then was as green as grass in the nell gwynn but still gave sky lantern a lesson & thats quite possibly the best form on offer here with bags of potential yet to come. those not wanting to take a short price might want to take a look at either AGENT ALLISON or MAUREEN as an e/w bet as it was only the jockeys that where the difference between them last time out, allison got spencered & maureen was hughesed, work it out for yourselves!lol

here are todays advised bets..

2pts e/w SCATTER DICE 2.20 salisbury (nap) 10/1 paddy power

1pt e/w HAMZA 3.10 newmarket (nb) 13/2 bet365

0.5pt e/w double

HO HERETIC 2.05 newmarket 12/1 bet365

SCATTER DICE 2.20 salisbury 10/1 paddy power

HAMZA 3.10 newmarket 13/2 bet365

HOT SNAP 3.50 newmarket 11/4 paddy power

0.5pt e/w lucky 15

scatter dice is a daughter of manduro so this step up in trip is just the job in fact the further she goes the better to be honest & a recent spin round epsom will have put her spot on for this. hamza finally gets his ground & can make hay whilst the sun shines so to speak & is another whos recent run will have blown away the cobwebs.

all in all a cracking days racing to be honest & it should be a belting day out for racegoers. many thanks for taking the time to read my blog & as always i wish you the best of luck with whatever you decide for your money & happy punting!! :-)

Friday 3 May 2013

3/5/2013

Evening sportsfans!! not the greatest day today if i'm honest although the nap netted us some place money & the e/w lucky 15 had a couple placed so it wasn't a disaster by any means. onto newmarket & its guineas weekend with decent ground.. maybe there is a god after all!!!! :-)

2pts e/w DANCE AND DANCE 2.05 newmarket (nap) 25/1 bet365

1pt e/w GEORGE VANCOUVER 3.50 newmarket (nb) 18/1 b.v.

1pt e/w ANDERIEGO 4.35 thirsk 25/1 b.v.

1pt e/w MABAIT 2.55 goodwood 10/1 bet365

e/w yankee (2pts in total)

full write up will appear here later..

2/5/2013

Evening sportsfans!! and what a good evening it is after the NB rattled home @ tasty s.p. of 8/1 & to go with it we also got james pollard placed @ 12's & hail promenade @ 7's to give us a very nice profit on the day.hopefully the run continues..

2pts e/w GONINODAETHAT 5.35 musselburgh (nap) 8/1 bet365

1pt e/w JARROW 3.50 chepstow (nb) 12/1 bet365

0.5pt e/w double

KARATE 2.10 lingfield 6/1 bet365

SATANIC BEAT 3.00 musselburgh 7/1 bet365

SONG OF PARKES 3.40 lingfield 10/1 bet365

COMMANCHE 4.10 lingfield 10/1 ladbrokes

0.5pt e/w lucky 15

both the nap & the nb look extremely well treated to me & should both be thereabouts tomorrow.  i'll keep it short & sweet tonight as i've got an evening planned with the tattersales guineas breeze up catalogue which i'll be going over with a fine tooth comb to see if theres any value lurking!! :-)

many thanks for taking the time to read my blog & as always i wish you the best of luck with whatever you decide for your money tomorrow & happy punting!! :-)

Wednesday 1 May 2013

1/5/2014

Evening sportsfans!! well not to bad today finding a winner & a couple of places from our three selections but still not quite hitting the mark if i'm honest, hopefully tomorrow can see us nail the bullseye & give followers something to cheer..

2pts e/w GEORGE BENJAMIN 5.40 chepstow (nap) 12/1 bet365

2pts e/w UNDERSTORY 3.50 lingfield (nb) 7/1 bet365

1pt e/w JAMES POLLARD 6.10 chepstow 12/1 bet365

1pt e/w HAIL PROMENADER 7.10 chepstow 7/1 bet365

e/w yankee (2pts in total)

our old friend understory should make a bold bid from the front tomorrow under neil callan & i think the first time blinkers are exactly what he needs as he can be a bit free. the nap looks cracking value to me & is now 8lb below his last winning mark over C&D and is far happier over this 7f trip.

many thanks for taking the time to read my blog & as always i wish you the best of luck with whatever you decide for your money tomorrow & happy punting!! :-)
