Evening sportsfans!! an excellent month so far blog wise showing a healthy +37pts to advised bets. hopefully tomorrow can carry on the good work..

2pts e/w MAC AEDA 3.35 haydock (nap) 7/1 boylesports

a nap on the blog last time out when he made his seasonal re-appearance when running well to land us some place money but in all fairness he blew up a bit slightly in the later stages that day & that should have put him spot on for this. the handicapper has left him alone so he remains on a winning mark so we'll stick with him to bring home the money here.

1pt e/w TIDAL BAY 3.00 haydock (nb) 8/1 bet365

this renewal of the betfair chase is an absolute cracker with a whole host of stars making an appearance which boasts two gold cup winners to name a few. plenty of the big guns are making there seasonal appearance & it really would be a good day to be paddockside to be honest. bobsworth is a worthy favourite with his record left handed there for all to see but silviniaco conti i have my doubts about to be honest, personally i think he was beat when coming down in the gold cup & then was turned over at aintree in what was a pretty weak race for the grade to be honest so he'll get the old spanish archer but even though hes now rising 13 years of age the tidal bay show just keeps on rolling! in the last year the only horse to beat him was bobsworth in the hennessy but the bay was trying to give him 6lb that day so off levels tomorrow he must have every chance of reversing the form with the gold cup winner & looks the value play here.

1pt e/w RESTLESS HARRY 2.25 haydock 33/1 skybet

a dual grade 2 winner in the past robert dickins 9yo didn't really take to chasing to be honest & whilst hes had a couple of spins the last twice over the smaller obstacles you can ignore them because he needs it like a gluepot to be at his best & i think the going at haydock tomorrow will be alot softer than people think if todays times are anything to go by & a bit of overnight rain wouldn't go a miss either. it is a speculative selection but off a mark of 128 hes hard to ignore if he can still remember how to put one hoof in front of the other.

e/w trixie (2pts in total)

theres a few that i like on the a/w at lingfield tomorrow so we'll have a small pop at an e/w yankee there..

golden desert 1.25 lingfield 8/1 bet365

triple dream 2.35 lingfield 17/2 bet victor

chevise 3.10 lingfield 16/1 bet victor

the wee chief 3.45 lingfield 11/2 bet victor

e/w yankee (2pts in total)

15/11/2013

Evening sportsfans!! a cracking card at cheltenham tomorrow & the jumps season is well & truly underway. some tricky handicaps i must admit but hopefully we've found a bit of value..

1pt e/w NADIYA DE LA VEGA 2.30 cheltenham (nap) 12/1 b.v.

a cracking contest this with some very classy types at the head of the handicap who have been plying there trade in graded contests so to give lumps of weight away in a handicap is going to be difficult. however lurking right at the bottom of the weights is the nicky henderson mare nadiya de la vega. she ran a gallant race last year behind al ferof & comes here on a 5lb lower mark but more importantly she had already made a winning debut last year when coming here & she is a different proposition when fresh as her record after a 60+ day break reads..1-1-1 !! the ground should be spot on for her & i'm expecting a big run here.

1pt e/w ALVARADO 1.50 cheltenham (nb) 12/1 bet victor

has had a pipe opener this season & to be honest i dont think this will be the strongest G3 handicap ran at prestbury park this year. burton port heads the weight off a mark of 158 giving the handicap a slightly lob sided look to it & i'd be surprised if he can get involved in this off that mark as its 6lb higher than when he was placed in the hennessy but that was in 2010 & you'd have to think hes regressed with age. last years winner monbeg dude is now racing off a 18lb higher mark so hes bypassed & if im honest i can make an excuse for almost everything in the field but alvarado could quite easily lob round behind them & gradually pick them off one by one with a  bit of luck.

0.5pt e/w double

many thanks for following..

10/11/2013

Evening sportsfans!! not alot to shout about yesterday to be fair, the nap managed to dead heat for a place to pull a bit back but apart from that the day was disappointing. hopefully we can get back to winning ways tomorrow.

1pt e/w ABIGAILS ANGEL 3.20 kempton (nap) 16/1 ladbrokes

the return to polytrack can work the oracle after a couple of runs on the turf that should hopefully have put her spot on for this. she comes here on a winning mark & also has a cracking draw to hopefully get out & bag the rail and lead them home.

1pt e/w PALOMAS PRINCE 5.20 kempton (nb) 20/1 ladbrokes

hopefully the return to polytrack can work for this lad as well & he could be very well treated here. his season seems to have come off the rails slightly & he does seem to be the "win or tailed off" type but he could well be worth a punt here at a decent price.

0.5pt e/w double

8/11/2013

Evening sportsfans!! well who'd of thought it!?!?! 36pts profit to advised bets on this months blog & we are also defending a 100% record with our naps following wins @ 6/1 & 7/1 for our selections! hopefully the good run can continue..

1pt e/w TARTIFLETTE 1.50 doncaster (nap) 14/1 paddy power

last years winner comes here just a pound higher than that win but shes a filly that comes to herself at this time of year & is unbeaten in the month of november. she has some seriously smart form as a 3yo most notably when chasing home the likes of gregorian & fire ship which where both on an easy surface so tomorrows ground should hold no fears for her & hopefully she can keep up our 100% nap strike rate this month.

1pt e/w FORGOTTEN HERO 3.35 doncaster (nb) 14/1 bet365

this son of high chaparral showed last time that the longer trip of 12f was just what he required & after just 12 lifetime starts there looks like there could be plenty more to come from him at the trip. he does have a 6lb rise in the weights to contend with in what is traditionally a very hot handicap but he had looked a touch one paced on his previous outings so with natural progression he can get involved in this at the business end of things.

1pt e/w ETON RIFLES 2.25 doncaster 6/1 bet victor (iwac)

hes another that scored on last years card & this race looks no harder to be honest, he relishes some give underfoot & has been a revelation for the williams yard since they switched him to sprint trips last season & another decent pot looks there for the taking here.

6/11/2013

Evening sportsfans!! well what a return the blog made on monday!! 12/1 & 6/1 winners to go with an 8/1 place giving us a 30pt gain to advised bets on the day! hopefully the return to form can continue tomorrow.. :-)

1pt e/w BILLY RED 2.20 lingfield (nap) 7/1 ladbrokes

dual C&D winner who has now slipped 5lb below his last winning mark. is always best when ridden from the front & the return to the saddle of joe fanning is a massive plus here.

1pt e/w WAVERUNNER 3.20 lingfield (nb) 10/1 ladbrokes

this daughter of ravens pass was quite progressive earlier in the year at this trip but i'm not sure shes appreciated the extra distance on her starts since joining mark johnston. a few poor runs have resulted in a bit of respite from the handicapper though & this is also a welcome drop in grade for her.

0.5pt e/w double

Sunday 3 November 2013

3/11/2013

Evening sportsfans!!! well its certainly good to be back after a quite couple of weeks for me. october is a perilous time of year for punting & i've had one succesful october in the time i've been keeping records. i class myself as a semi-intelligent man so it wasn't rocket science that after looking at my form in october over the years that i should take a step back & let things settle down a bit form wise with the cross over from the turf flat season to the jumps. hopefully the short break will have me freshened up ready for the a/w & NH seasons ahead. on to tomorrow & here are my thoughts..

1pt e/w DARK LANE 2.50 wolves (nap) 6/1 bet365

last years winner comes here on the same mark & with adam kirby taking back over the reigns he looks like hes ready for action. hes ultra consistent on the polytrack & his record on the surface in C6 events reads.. 1-4-3-3-1-3-1-1-2-2-5-1-1-3-3 and we'll take him to see if he can get the day off to a flyer.

1pt e/w OUTLAW TORN 4.55 wolves (nb) 8/1 bet365

course specialist who has twice dropped to this winning mark in the past & obliged. he ran well behind the progressive landau last time out in alot stronger race than this & the drop back into C6 company can work the oracle tomorrow.

1pt e/w HAADEETH 2.15 wolves 12/1 bet365

another david evans horse that adam kirby replaces an apprentice on whos handily slipped 3lb below his last winning mark & if he breaks well he'll make these all go & theres no one better on a front runner than kirby round wolves.

1pt e/w JOHNNY CAVAGIN 3.55 wolves 8/1 bet365

robert winstons 3/6 on this gelding & he seems to be the "go to guy" when hes trying. hes slipped to a winning mark & looks the best treated in what isn't the strongest race for the class that you'll ever see here at dunstall park.

e/w yankee (2pts in total)

the #stealingaliving league makes its long awaited re-appearance this week with a whole host of cowboys in our sights!!

10. simon mapletoft (racing uk presenter)
all round fool who was one of the first to tweet that if the fugue & magician had swopped jockeys then it would of been a different result..WELL THEY DIDN'T SWOP DID THEY! get over it & move on fugue backers!! (and yes i did lay it!) ;-)

9. jason weaver (atr pundit)
very small man whos idea of research is a scan of the racecard whilst having a shit.

8. joke kinnear (not really sure what he does to be honest)
but whatever it is he does it very badly!! he told us to judge him on his signings.. fair enough.. YOUR SHIT!

7. joe hart (man city reserve goalkeeper)
oh dear joe..oh dear..

6. choc thornton (NH jockey)
strangely seems to spend far more time rolling round the turf rather than riding horses.. :-/

5. claire balding (rug muncher)
i was under the impression the girl balding was recruited by C4 to front there coverage..yet shes rarely seen!?! nice work if you can get it love!

4. david moyes (man utd interim manager)
seems fergie was more of a genius than people gave him credit for..replace yourself with a fool & make you look amazing!

3. steve bruce (cock)
wish he'd just shut about being harshly treated by sunderland when he was there.. YOU WERE SHIT! get over it & move on man..

2. rishi persad (where do we begin!)
took control of the morning line & fronted the main C4 show with nick luck over in america.. organised chaos springs to mind!!

1. MY CLEANER!! (yes..my cleaner)
now i know you read this janet & your no show this morning is unacceptable & the fact that your phone has been off all day tells me you where severely hungover love... your in the last chance saloon now dear, sort your shit out!!!!!!

many thanks for taking the time to read my blog & i hope you found it enjoyable.
