Evening sportsfans!! another decent day with both our lays landing the money.. the back selections leaved something to desire though to be fair & hopefully we can get back on track tomorrow..

2pts e/w THOMAS CHIPPENDALE 3.05 ascot (nap) 14/1 skybet

the front two in the market both take a step up in class here & the forecast favourite mount athos will be one i'll be looking to lay tomorrow as i think he wants further than this trip nowadays. the two in the field with Group 2 winning form in the book are the top horse & this lad but i think the gosden runner wants a softer surface & will do well to take this on his seasonal bow. lady cecils colt won last years King Edward VII stakes beating noble mission however frankels full brother has only beaten five opponents home when there has been firm in the going title & his resolution has to be questioned to be honest but the final factor for me is the booking of johnny murtagh for the first time since last years royal meeting & the irishman is riding at the top of his game at the minute and he can bring him home in front.

1pt e/w CARAVAN ROLLS ON 5.00 ascot (nb) 8/1 skybet

i think i might of lost my senses here backing a peter chapple-hatpegs runner with frank spencer on board but he had absolutly no luck in running on his penultimate start when half a length behind the smart sir graham wade & his two length defeat behind tiger cliff when trying to give him 5lb on his seasonal bow reads very well in what now is starting to look like quite a hot race & we'll take a chance that his inept connections don't hamper his chances to much.

0.5pt e/w MORACHE MUSIC 4.25 ascot 33/1 bet365

last years fourth re-opposes off a 2lb lower mark & with a cracking draw he can get right in the mix here. i really think you can put a line through the low drawn numbers if todays anything to go by as all the pace was on the stands side & expect much of the same tomorrow.

e/w trixie (2pts total)

there will be a blog update at 10am tomorrow morning with a full list of tomorrows lays on.

many thanks for following..

regards
ian
