23/4/2013

Evening sportsfans!! sometimes when you recieve a bit of criticism something triggers inside...and you come out all guns blazing!! like an old fashioned gun slinger strolling into town we came out firing from the hip today with the 16/1 NB going in followed up with a very nice 4/1 winner...and only a very dubious ride from T P Queally cost us a massive each way return on our advised bet. now i've got the bit between my teeth its time to really put the enemy to the sword...

3pts win VIKING WARRIOR 1.35 catterick (nap) 9/2 bet365

in footballing terms this is as near to a "home game" as you can get.
two course victories & five places to his name he knows this place like the back of his hoof.his record over C&D in the class 6 races reads 2-3-1.. his overall record over C&D reads.. 2-3-1-2-3-2-1-4-5
he's been a model of concistency & the michael dods team have also had a couple of nice winners recently.he now comes here 2lb below his last winning mark & young connor beasleys claim is an added bonus.with ground conditions to suit he's a confident nap tomorrow.

1.5pts e/w INGLEBY STAR 2.05 catterick (nb) 14/1 bet365

this is another who looks very well in to me..now your going to have to bare with me whilst i explain this.. he won a 0-75 carrying 8-11 minus a 3lb claim (so 8-8 basically) he goes here tomorrow in a 0-70 carrying 9-3 less a 5lb claim (so 8-12 basically) so allowing for the 5lb differentiation in the weights he actually goes here off a pound lower mark than his last winning one in september.at first sight he looks like he's a pound higher still but luke mcniffs 5lb claim swings it back in his favour.if i've got my maths right & this comes off believe me i'll be lighting a fat cigar tomorrow evening!!

1pts e/w SWISS CROSS 2.20 epsom 8/1 william hill

now this race took me a while to blog as running here is my old friend sacrosanctus who i napped last time out @ 8/1 & it wasn't easy deserting him but its not really his grade or trip tomorrow & maybe the old boy needs to drop a few pounds as well to be honest.
on the other hand this lad is fighting fit & comes here in good heart.
more importantly he loves it here at what is a very quirky track & his course record reads 1-4-2-4.personally i think his last half dozen runs have been to work his mark down as he was stuck in no mans land handicap wise but he now comes here on the same mark as when just touched off by york glory at the end of last year which is very smart form & a repeat would be more than good enough to win this.

0.5pt e/w trixie

well after a cracking day today we now have to keep it going & show the bookmakers no mercy!! :-) many thanks for taking the time to read my blog & as always i wish you the best of luck with whatever you decide for your money & happy punting!! :-)

regards
ian
