30/4/2013

Evening sportsfans!! well after a day off to recharge the batteries we're back & hopefully with a bang! :-) hopefully we can find a few winners after a couple of days pounding the woodwork with place after place & it looks a cracking midweek card to be fair.

2pts win MISHRIF 7.00 kempton (nap) 9/2 bet365

John Jenkins veteran ran back into some kind of form last time out & is well worth sticking with as the handicapper has left him alone. all to often horses are raised for getting placed & is it any wonder that trainers have to play around at different trips etc. to work a horses handicap mark down. Richard Hughes should be able to pop him out handy & ride them to sleep on the front end.

2pts STIPULATE 3.00 ascot (nb) 7/2 skybet

Henry Cecil's charge has been a model of consistency & can take this decent prize. since his win in a listed event he has had seven out of his eight last runs at group level so this contest is a welcome drop in grade to be honest. he's far happier with some give underfoot so his comeback run on quick ground was far from a disappointment & the opposition have questions to answer.

2pts win ESTIMATE 3.35 ascot 3/1 william hill

again not the most original selection but her two placed efforts behind wild coco represents some of the best form on offer from the fairer sex last year. she could well turn into a high class stayer this year & this really isn't the strongest group 3 ever to be run.

1pt win trixie

an excellent days racing tomorrow with three pattern races taking place at ascot & a solid card at pontefract the highlights. this week see's us into guineas weekend & no doubt the dogs will be barking & the rumour mill will be in overdrive over the next few days but i think alot hinges on the going this year with ante-post favourite for the 2000 dawn approach not looking like fast ground may be ideal but time will tell.many thanks for taking the time to read my blog & as always i wish you the best of luck with whatever you decide for your money tomorrow & happy punting!! :-)

regards
ian
